Bali Coconut Oil supplies wholesale virgin coconut oil (VCO) for bulk buyers worldwide. We sell on FOB Surabaya/Denpasar or CIF terms, in 200 kg steel drums, 1,000 L IBC totes, or 22-tonne flexitanks. Minimum order is one drum for first orders; full-container loads (FCL) get the best price. Request a quote anytime via info@balicoconutoil.com or WhatsApp 6281128590000.
We are a B2B supplier and exporter, not a retail shop. If you are formulating a cosmetic line, packing private-label bottles, or feeding a food-manufacturing run, this page covers the terms, packaging, indicative pricing, and lead times you need to plan a purchase order.
What does “wholesale virgin coconut oil” actually mean here?
Wholesale means you buy by the drum, tote, or container — not the 250 ml jar. Virgin coconut oil means oil extracted from fresh coconut milk (wet process), without refining, bleaching, or deodorizing (so it is RBD’s opposite). Our standard grade is cold-processed VCO with a fresh, mild coconut aroma, free fatty acid (FFA) typically at or below 0.5%, and moisture below 0.2%.
Two things to confirm before you order, because buyers ask them in the first message:
- Grade fit. VCO suits cosmetics, soap, hair and skin care, premium food, and supplements. If you need a neutral, odorless oil for high-heat frying or industrial use, you likely want RBD coconut oil instead — tell us and we will be honest about whether VCO is the right fit.
- Specs you require. Send your target FFA, moisture, peroxide value, and color spec. We will confirm against our typical ranges before quoting. We do not promise numbers we cannot hold.
How is wholesale VCO packaged for export?
Packaging drives your freight cost, shelf handling, and per-kg price. Here is what we ship and the rough fill weight for each format.
| Packaging | Net fill | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steel drum | 200 kg | First orders, LCL, mixed pallets | Food-grade lined; ~5 drums per pallet |
| HDPE jerrycan | 20–25 kg | Small batches, sampling lines | Stackable; common for cosmetic formulators |
| IBC tote | 1,000 L (~920 kg) | Mid-volume, repeat buyers | Lower packaging cost per kg than drums |
| Flexitank | ~22 tonnes | Full 20 ft container, large runs | Lowest per-kg packaging cost |
A 20 ft container holds roughly 80 drums (about 16 tonnes) or one flexitank (about 22 tonnes). If you are unsure which format fits your volume, send us your annual or per-shipment quantity and we will recommend the most cost-efficient option.
What are FOB and CIF, and which should you choose?
These are Incoterms that decide who pays for what in the shipping chain.
- FOB (Free On Board) — our price covers the oil, export packaging, inland transport to port, and loading onto your vessel at Surabaya (Tanjung Perak) or via Denpasar. You arrange and pay ocean freight and insurance from there. Choose FOB if you have your own freight forwarder or a preferred shipping line.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) — our price also covers ocean freight and marine insurance to your named destination port. Choose CIF if you want a single landed-cost number and prefer us to book the shipping.
For a first-time buyer without a forwarder, CIF is usually simpler. For a buyer with established logistics, FOB usually lands cheaper. We quote both on request so you can compare.
What does wholesale VCO cost? (indicative, as of June 2026)
Coconut oil is a commodity, and copra and CNO prices move with each harvest and the global market. The figures below are indicative ranges as of June 2026 and are subject to change — treat them as a planning anchor, not a locked quote. We confirm a firm price, valid for a stated number of days, only after we know your grade, volume, packaging, and destination.
| Volume tier | Packaging | Indicative FOB price (USD/kg) | Indicative MOQ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | 1 drum (200 kg) | 3.40 – 4.10 | 1 drum |
| Small bulk | 5–20 drums | 3.10 – 3.70 | 5 drums |
| Container (FCL) | 80 drums or flexitank | 2.80 – 3.30 | 1 × 20 ft |
Indicative ranges only, FOB East Java, as of June 2026, subject to change with the copra market and your final specs. CIF adds freight and insurance to your port and varies by route. Currency reference: roughly IDR 16,300 per USD as of June 2026 for buyers planning in rupiah. Always request a current written quote before you budget — we will not hold you to a number on this page.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For a first order, our practical MOQ is one 200 kg drum, so you can run a batch and verify the oil in your own process before committing to volume. Repeat and container buyers move to better tiers. We would rather start you small and earn the larger PO than oversell you on order one.
If you need a sample before a drum, we can usually arrange a small paid sample (you cover the courier). Ask for sample terms in your message.
How long are the lead times?
Lead time depends on whether the volume is in stock and on vessel schedules out of East Java. Typical planning windows, as of June 2026:
- Drums in stock: 7–14 days from confirmed order and payment to port loading.
- Container / flexitank production run: 3–5 weeks, depending on harvest flow and your spec.
- Ocean transit (CIF): added on top — for example, roughly 3–5 weeks to major European and US ports, shorter to Asia and Australia. Transit varies by carrier and route, so we confirm an estimated time of arrival per booking.
We share a realistic timeline up front. If a harvest gap or a spec requirement means longer, we tell you before you commit — no guaranteed dates we cannot meet.
What about certifications and documents?
Be direct with us about what your market requires, because customs and your buyers will ask. We provide standard export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and bill of lading — and a certificate of analysis (COA) per batch for the agreed specs.
For specific certification schemes (such as organic, food-safety, or religious certifications), ask us what we currently hold and what we can arrange for your order. We will tell you plainly what applies to your shipment rather than imply a blanket claim. We do not fabricate certificates, and we will not put a logo on a document we cannot back.
How do you place a wholesale order?
The fastest path to a firm quote is one message with these five details:
- Product and grade (VCO; any FFA/moisture/peroxide spec you need).
- Quantity per shipment (drums, IBCs, or container volume).
- Packaging preference (drum, jerrycan, IBC, or flexitank).
- Incoterm and destination port (FOB East Java or CIF [your port]).
- Target timeline and any certification your market requires.
Send that to info@balicoconutoil.com or message WhatsApp 6281128590000. A real person from our team replies with a written quote, current pricing, available stock, and a realistic lead time. No bots, no auto-spec sheets that overpromise — just the numbers we can stand behind.
If you are still deciding between VCO and refined oil, or between drums and a flexitank, message us anyway. We would rather spend ten minutes getting your order right than ship you the wrong format.
