About Bali Coconut Oil — Virgin Coconut Oil Wholesale Supplier & Exporter

About Bali Coconut Oil

Bali Coconut Oil is a B2B virgin coconut oil wholesale supplier and exporter based in Bali, Indonesia. We sell bulk cold-pressed VCO to private-label brands, food manufacturers, cosmetic formulators, and distributors. We are a supply-and-export business, not a retail shop, and we are direct about our minimum order quantities, lab specs, and the certifications we currently hold.

Who is Bali Coconut Oil?

We are a wholesale and export operation that connects buyers abroad with virgin coconut oil produced from coconuts grown in Indonesia. Our typical customer is a procurement manager or product developer ordering by the drum, IBC tote, or full container, not a household buying a 250 ml bottle.

What that means in practice:

  • We quote in USD per kilogram or per metric ton, free-on-board (FOB) from a named Indonesian port, with packaging and Incoterm stated on every quotation.
  • Our standard minimum order quantity (MOQ) starts at one pallet for first-time private-label trials and scales to full 20-foot container loads for recurring buyers. Exact MOQ depends on packaging format and is confirmed in writing before you commit.
  • We supply both food-grade VCO and cosmetic-grade VCO, and we tell you plainly which grade matches your application rather than selling you the more expensive one by default.

If you are comparing suppliers, the fastest way to get real numbers is to message us on WhatsApp at +62 811-2859-0000 or email info@balicoconutoil.com with your target volume, grade, and destination country. We reply with a spec sheet and an indicative quote.

Where do you source the coconuts?

Our coconuts come from smallholder groves across Indonesia, with our processing and consolidation centered in Bali. Indonesia is one of the largest coconut-producing countries in the world, and the tall coconut palms common to Java, Sulawesi, and the Lesser Sunda Islands give a mature nut with high oil content suitable for cold-pressing.

We work with collector networks and farming families rather than a single estate. This keeps supply resilient across harvest cycles, but it also means traceability is something we manage actively rather than assume. We record the sourcing region for each production batch so that buyers who need origin documentation for their own compliance can request it.

Sourcing detail What we provide
Raw material Mature coconuts from Indonesian smallholder groves
Processing location Bali, Indonesia
Batch traceability Region-level batch records on request
Harvest dependency Multi-region sourcing to reduce single-area shortfall risk

How is the oil produced?

Our virgin coconut oil is made by cold-pressing fresh coconut kernel, not by refining copra. The fresh-wet process protects the natural aroma and keeps free fatty acid (FFA) levels low, which is the practical marker buyers look for when they assess VCO quality.

A simplified view of our process:

  1. Mature coconuts are dehusked and the white kernel is extracted.
  2. The kernel is processed fresh to produce coconut milk or grated meal, depending on the production line.
  3. The oil is separated using cold-press or fermentation-assisted methods at controlled, low temperatures.
  4. The oil is filtered, then sampled for moisture, FFA, and color before it is approved for packing.
  5. Approved batches are filled into the buyer’s chosen format, batch-coded, and held for shipment.

Each production batch is tied to a certificate of analysis (COA) that states the actual measured values for that lot, including moisture and free fatty acid content. We send the COA with the shipment and can share a representative recent COA during the quoting stage so you know what to expect before you order.

Who writes and checks the information on this site?

Production and editorial content on balicoconutoil.com is led by Wayan Suteja, our Bali-based coconut-oil production lead. Wayan oversees pressing operations and batch quality checks at our Bali facility and reviews the technical claims on this site, such as the grade definitions, the process steps above, and the spec ranges we quote to buyers.

His role here is straightforward: keep what we publish consistent with what actually happens on the production floor. When a number on this site changes, for example a price band or an FFA target, it is because the underlying batch data or quotation reality changed, and the update carries a date so you can see how current it is. Prices and figures on this site are date-stamped as of June 2026 and are subject to change with the market.

What certifications does Bali Coconut Oil hold?

This is where many supplier pages overstate things, so we will be direct. We will only ever list a certification on this site once we genuinely hold it and can show the certificate to a buyer who asks.

If you require a specific certification for your market, tell us before ordering. We will state plainly whether we currently hold it, whether it applies to the specific batch and packing line for your order, and what documentation we can provide. We do not claim awards, ratings, or endorsements we have not earned, and we do not list certifications we cannot evidence.

Buyer question Our commitment
“Can I see the certificate?” Yes — we share the actual document for any certification we claim
“Does it cover my batch?” We confirm scope per packing line and production lot, not as a blanket claim
“What if you don’t hold it?” We say so directly and discuss alternatives or timelines
